The Echo Park Chamber of Commerce is accepting Donations
for the Family of Cosme Gonzalez
Local tamale vendor, Cosme Gonzalez was murdered on a Friday morning at 9.30am. Here was a hard working family man going about his business, bringing breakfast, and with it, a little joy to the neighborhood. His murder joins the catalog of the seemingly random, savage and tragic attacks on our community members in recent times. I cannot make any sense of it at all.
Cosme Gonzalez leaves his wife of 10 years, Flor, and their children, a son aged 9 and two young daughters aged 5 and 3.
