President, Mitchell Frank

Mitchell Frank is a trailblazing entrepreneur, concert and event producer, music promoter, record company executive and restaurateur with a 15-year track record of success. As president and founder of Spaceland Productions, Frank turned a Silver Lake pub into one of the most popular and successful nightclubs in Los Angeles and the site of a nationally renowned music scene with an extensive community base.

Under Frank's direction, Spaceland Productions has been responsible for hundreds of concerts and private parties at venues around Los Angeles, producing shows by such popular and acclaimed acts as Beck, Coldplay, Death Cab for Cutie, Franz Ferdinand, Interpol, Nora Jones, The New York Dolls, The Polyphonic Spree, Postal Service, The Shins, Weezer, The White Stripes, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, as well as hundreds of other major artists. Spaceland Productions also co-produces a range of events including the Sunset Junction Street Fair, the KCRW Sounds Eclectic Evening and Arthurfest.

Frank is also a managing partner, owner and founder of The Echo, a popular nightclub and restaurant in the trendy Echo Park district of Los Angeles. Since opening in 2001 The Echo has been cited as one of the best up and coming nightclubs in Los Angeles. The Echo and the new Ex_Plx will be the largest musical venue of its type on the East Side of Los Angeles, with a combined capacity of 1100. Frank also is an operating partner and a major force behind the success of Malo, an East Los Angeles taqueria with one of most impressive and extensive tequila menus in Los Angeles.

Frank currently serves as an advisor to several bars, nightclubs and restaurants, as well as companies in the concert, food and beverage, real estate, media and high tech industries. Most recently, he has been instrumental in revitalizing the Echo Park Chamber of Commerce, where he serves on the Board of Officers as President.
